FAQ

CHINESE CARS FOR BUYERS WORLDWIDE

Chinese manufacturers now build modern vehicles with long equipment lists, large touchscreens, driver assistance features and one of the widest electric and hybrid ranges on the market. In many countries they cost noticeably less than comparable Japanese, Korean or European models, and the choice of body types runs from small city cars to seven-seat SUVs and heavy trucks.

We are an authorised dealer. We source vehicles directly from Chinese manufacturers and authorised exporters, issue the commercial invoice ourselves and ship to your destination port. We are not a marketplace and we do not pass your order along to a chain of agents.

We export worldwide. Any country that permits the import of vehicles from China can be a destination. Give us your destination port in the enquiry and we confirm the route and terms before you commit. All shipments remain subject to export control and sanctions rules.

No. We supply battery electric (EV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), full hybrid (HEV), petrol and diesel vehicles, plus commercial vehicles. Tell us how and where you will drive and we help you decide which powertrain fits.

Our vehicles are sourced new from Chinese manufacturers and authorised exporters. If a listing is anything other than brand new, the description says so and states the mileage.

Both work. We handle single-unit orders for private buyers and fleet orders for dealerships, logistics companies, NGOs, government buyers, mining operators and other businesses.

Browse the inventory, then send an enquiry through the contact form with the brand, model, powertrain, quantity and destination port. Our China-based team replies within 2 to 3 business days with a quotation.

Import rules differ from country to country. Some require an import permit, a conformity certificate or a registered importer, and many buyers hire a local clearing agent. We handle everything on the China side. Import clearance, duties and registration are your responsibility, so check the requirements with your customs authority before ordering.

POPULAR CHINESE CAR BRANDS

We supply BYD, Chery, Haval, MG, Geely, Changan, JAC, Foton, GWM, Aion, Xiaomi, BAIC, Shacman and other Chinese brands. Availability depends on each manufacturer’s export programme, so send us the model you want and we confirm it.

BYD built its name on batteries and focuses on electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Chery offers a broader mix of petrol, hybrid and electric models, including the Tiggo SUV family and the Omoda and Jaecoo ranges.

Haval is the SUV brand of Great Wall Motor, which trades as GWM. The group also builds Tank off-roaders, Wey premium SUVs, Ora electric hatchbacks and Poer pickups.

They are newer electric-focused brands. Aion is the electric brand of GAC, Zeekr is the premium electric brand of Geely, Avatr is backed by Changan with Huawei and CATL, and Denza is the premium brand of BYD.

Several international marques build models in China, and the China-built versions are the ones we source. The Lotus Eletre and the long-wheelbase BMW 5 Series are examples. Ask us about a specific model and we confirm whether a China-built version is available for export.

Availability depends on the manufacturer’s export plans, which change from model to model. Send an enquiry naming the vehicle and we confirm the position with the factory before quoting.

Start with how you will use the car: climate, road quality, fuel or charging access and the number of seats. Then check whether the brand has a distributor or service workshops in your country. We can compare two or three options for you once we know your destination.

SUVS AND CHOOSING THE RIGHT MODEL

Popular family choices include the Haval H6, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, BYD Song Plus, Geely Monjaro, Changan CS75 Plus and MG HS. The right one depends on budget, seating and whether you want electric, hybrid or petrol power.

Choose electric if you can charge at home or work and your trips are predictable. Choose a plug-in or full hybrid if charging is patchy but you want lower fuel use. Choose petrol where fuel is cheap and charging stations are rare.

Many are, but models differ. Ask for the ground clearance, suspension type and cooling specification, and for electric models the battery thermal management. We pass your road and climate conditions to the factory so the right version is quoted.

It is the side of the car where the driver sits. Each country requires one or the other, so confirm the steering side before ordering. Many models come in both, while some are built only in left-hand drive.

Cars sold inside China use the GB/T standard. Export versions are often fitted with CCS2 or Type 2 connectors depending on the destination market. State your country in the enquiry so we quote the correct charging port.

Colour, trim level and seat configuration can usually be chosen from the options the factory offers for export. The final specification is written on your quotation and invoice.

Check the steering side, powertrain, emissions standard, fuel quality in your country, ground clearance, charging connector and any local rules on vehicle age or type approval. Our team goes through this list with you before the invoice is issued.

PICKUPS AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

Examples include the GWM Poer, JAC T8, Foton Tunland, Changan Hunter and the BYD Shark plug-in hybrid. Single and double cab versions exist, with petrol, diesel and hybrid power depending on the model.

Many are built for daily work, with four-wheel-drive versions and solid payload figures. Payload and towing ratings vary widely, so ask for the specification sheet and compare it with your load requirements.

Yes. Commercial brands such as Foton, JAC and Shacman cover vans, light trucks, buses and heavy trucks. Send your required payload, axle layout and body type and we confirm what the factory offers.

Yes. Dealerships, logistics companies, NGOs, government buyers and mining operators order through us regularly. Fleet orders are quoted as a single package with one set of export documents per shipment.

Electric vans, light trucks and hybrid pickups are available from several manufacturers. Range, payload and charging needs matter more for commercial use, so confirm them against your daily routes before ordering.

Smaller vehicles travel on roll-on roll-off (RoRo) vessels or in containers. Heavy trucks and buses are normally shipped on RoRo or break-bulk vessels because of their size. We recommend the method when we quote.

Many factories offer body options such as flatbed, box, tipper or tanker. Special bodies can extend the production time, so mention them in your first enquiry.

EXPORT, SHIPPING AND COSTS

You send an enquiry and receive a quotation. After you accept, we issue the commercial invoice, the factory allocates the vehicle and it is inspected. We then clear it through Chinese export customs, book the vessel to your port and send you the shipping documents.

FOB means we deliver the vehicle on board the ship at the Chinese port, and you pay freight and insurance from there. CIF means our price already includes freight and marine insurance to your named destination port.

Sea transit usually runs from about two weeks to seven weeks depending on the destination, plus time for booking and loading. We give the expected schedule for your port when we book the vessel.

RoRo ships let vehicles drive on and off, which is efficient for volume and larger vehicles. Containers protect the car inside a sealed box and suit single units, and a 40-foot container usually holds up to four cars depending on size.

You receive the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Your clearing agent uses these to complete import customs formalities at your port.

The buyer does. Duty and tax rates depend on your country, the engine type and the declared value, and they are payable to your customs authority when the vehicle arrives.

Yes. Pre-shipment inspection is part of our process, and every vehicle is checked against the specification on your invoice before it is released for loading.

Our China-based team reviews it and replies within 2 to 3 business days with a quotation or follow-up questions. If you accept, we issue the invoice and start the order.

PRICING AND VALUE

It combines the vehicle price, inland costs in China, export clearance and, on CIF terms, freight and marine insurance. Import duties, taxes and local registration are paid separately at your destination.

Prices on the site are shown in US dollars as a guide. The final price depends on the specification, quantity and shipping terms, and it is confirmed on your invoice.

It varies by brand and market. Established models with a local service network tend to resell better, while newer brands and fast-changing electric models can depreciate faster. Ask about local demand before you buy.

Usually the cost per kilometre is lower than petrol where electricity costs less than fuel. Your actual savings depend on local tariffs, charging access and how far you drive each year.

Prices are quoted in US dollars. The payment method, deposit and balance schedule are written on your invoice before you pay anything.

We quote multi-unit orders as a package and can reflect volume in the price. The amount depends on the model, the quantity and the manufacturer’s terms.

AFTER-SALES, WARRANTY AND SUPPORT

Warranty is set by the manufacturer and differs by brand, model and market. The terms that apply to your vehicle are stated in your quotation.

That depends on whether the brand has an authorised distributor or service network there. Check this before ordering, and ask us if you want us to confirm it with the manufacturer.

Parts for popular models are often available through local distributors and independent suppliers. If you want a parts package shipped with the vehicle, say so in your enquiry and we ask the manufacturer whether it can be included.

Authorised workshops of the brand, where they exist, or independent garages trained on the model. Electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles need technicians trained on high-voltage systems, so confirm that skill exists locally.

Photograph the damage at the port before the car leaves and notify the shipping line and your insurer straight away. On CIF terms marine insurance is included, and on FOB terms you arrange your own cover. Contact us with the bill of lading number and we help with the paperwork.

Export versions normally ship with international software and language options. Some connected services, voice assistants and navigation features are tied to China, so confirm the export software with us before you order.

Use the contact form and include your invoice number or bill of lading number. The team replies within 2 to 3 business days.
